Day Four Conclusion

The fourth day of the sacred Drodul Lingpa Wang Lung commenced with the continuation of the Tshokey Thuktik Puja at 6:00 AM, setting the foundation for the profound Dzogchen Semde (Mind Section) empowerments that followed.

The Empowerments

His Holiness Kyabje Dungzin Garab Rinpoche bestowed three significant empowerments from the outer cycle of the Mind Section (Semde) of Dzogchen during the morning session from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM:

The Thirty-one Forms of the Guru Who Tames Beings

བླ་མ་འགྲོ་འདུལ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཅིག་གི་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྩལ་དབང་།

རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་སྡེ་གསུམ་ལས་ཕྱི་སྐོར་སེམས་སྡེའི་བླ་མ་འགྲོ་འདུལ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཅིག་གི་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྩལ་དབང་།

The empowerment of the practice power for accomplishing the Thirty-one forms of the Guru who Tames Beings. This profound empowerment connects practitioners to the lineage of enlightened masters who manifest in various forms to guide beings according to their needs.

Samantabhadra of the Vajra Dhatu

ཡི་དམ་ཞི་བ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་དབང་བསྐུར།

རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་སྡེ་གསུམ་ལས་ཕྱི་སྐོར་སེམས་སྡེའི་ཡི་དམ་ཞི་བ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་དབང་བསྐུར།

The Bestowal of empowerment of the peaceful Yidam, Samantabhadra of the Vajra Dhatu. This empowerment grants access to the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, the ultimate source of all Dzogchen teachings.

The Arrow of Letter A Instruction

ཨ་ཡིག་མདའ་མའི་དབང་།

རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་སྡེ་གསུམ་ལས་ཕྱི་སྐོར་སེམས་སྡེའི་ཁྲིད་ཀྱི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཨ་ཡིག་མདའ་མའི་དབང།

The empowerment of the blessings transmission of the ‘Arrow of Letter A’ instruction. The letter A represents the primordial state of awareness in Dzogchen, and this empowerment points directly to the nature of mind.

Oral Transmissions

Following the midday break, His Holiness continued with the bestowal of oral transmissions (ལྗགས་ལུང་) in the afternoon session starting at 1:30 PM, with a tea break at 2:45 PM. The sacred texts and mantras that form the foundation of these Dzogchen Semde practices were transmitted.

The day concluded with the continuation of the Tshokey Thuktik Puja and auspicious prayers, sealing the blessings received throughout this sacred day.
